EZ EMR is an Open Source EMR that
is ready for use in your clinic, or can be modified as
part of a commercial application you are developing.
EZ EMR is a revolutionary approach
to EMR. First we began with top notch software
engineering. This product is the brain child of
well known computer science and software engineering
expert and author,
Chuck
Easttom. It is now being offered to the public as
Open Source.
Then we brought in medical
advisors. During initial development a family
practitioner with over 18 years of experience routinely
reviewed and helped revise the program. Then it was beta
tested at both a busy pediatric clinic and a nursing
school. Then after all of that a physician
assistant with 10 years of clinical experience was hired
to re-test the product. This means this is an incredibly
thoroughly tested product. And once the testing was
complete, the product moved to use in a live clinic.
This product has been in use live since early 2009.
What this means is that this product is thoroughly
tested, tried, and ready for use.
And this product is now in use in live Family Practice
clinics in the Dallas area.
